Traditionally, bagels are made with flour, yeast, and salt, but this bagel isn’t your traditional bagel. It’s an egg bagel. In addition to the regular ingredients, an egg is thrown into the dough giving it a richer flavor and golden color. The Tukwila-based bakery uses the kettle boiling method, which gives it that signature crisp outer shell and chewy, dense pull-a-part texture inside - essential to any bagel.
