Traditionally, bagels are made with flour, yeast, and salt, but this isn’t your traditional bagel. It’s an egg bagel. In addition to the regular ingredients, an egg is thrown into the dough giving it a richer flavor and golden color. The bakery uses the kettle boiling method, which gives it that lovely crisp outer shell and soft, dense texture inside - essential to any bagel.
