Synonymous with Easter, hot cross buns are traditionally served on Good Friday to mark the end of Lent. There are many variations to baking them, but hot cross buns are typically made with an enriched dough, filled with warm spices and dried fruit, piped with a cross on top and finished with a sweet glaze. They are the perfect springtime treat!
