Maury Island jam was developed by Pete and Jude Shepherd over 20 years ago when they were red currant farmers on their island farm. From the beginning, the Shepherds were guided by the idea that the fruit should come first in preserves and toppings. The taste of the berry in the field needed to find its way into the jar, and not be overwhelmed by sweeteners or anything artificial. Today, Maury Island Farm products are made to those original standards and recipes. More fruit than sugar. Small batches. No artificial flavors or colorings. An all-natural product.
