What You'll Need:
- 1 package Cucina Fresca Pea & Tarragon Ravioli
- 1 fennel bulb (approximately 3/4 cup when sliced)
- 2 tbsp. minced shallot
- 3 tbsp. Smith Brothers Farms Unsalted Butter
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Essential Baking Italian Bake-at-Home Bread*
Wash and dry your fennel. Slice into 1/4th-inch slices. Mince your shallot, and measure out 2 tablespoons. Put a large pot of water on to heat up according to ravioli package.
While you're waiting for the water to boil, heat 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Drop your butter into the pan, and once it has melted, add your sliced fennel. Season with salt and pepper. Stir occasionally until fennel is fragrant and soft, about 4 minutes.
Add your shallot and continue to stir until shallot is soft and translucent (
Drain the ravioli and give it a quick toss in the skillet with the butter, fennel, and shallot mixture. Season one last time with salt and pepper. Serve immediately with Essential Baking Italian bake-at-home bread.
