There’s something magical about a good latte at home, and one of the easiest ways to switch things up is simply by using flavored milk. If you’ve already tried our Easy Eggnog Latte, you know how delicious it is to let a flavorful milk do most of the work. Smith Brothers Eggnog adds sweetness, spices, and creaminess all in one step.
The same trick works beautifully with Smith Brothers chocolate milk, and strawberry milk in classic coffee or trendy matcha. Below are three easy latte variations you can make using the same basic method.
Before you begin, make sure you know How to Froth Milk so you can get that creamy coffeehouse foam at home.
Chocolate Milk Latte
A mocha-style latte doesn’t need chocolate syrup when the milk is already doing the work. Chocolate milk already has balanced sweetness and cocoa flavor, creating a smooth mocha latte without extra ingredients.

- 1 shot espresso
- 1/2 cup Smith Brothers chocolate milk or Alpenrose Swiss Supreme
- 1/4 cup Smith Brothers milk or half & half
- Optional: whipped cream or shaved chocolate
Instructions:
- Brew espresso into a mug.
- Heat the milk and chocolate milk together, then froth until silky.
- Pour over the espresso and finish with foam.
- Top with whipped cream or chocolate shavings if you’re feeling indulgent.
Strawberry Milk Latte
Sweet, creamy, and slightly nostalgic, a strawberry milk latte tastes like a café drink crossed with a strawberry milkshake.

- 1/4 cup Smith Brothers milk or half & half
- Optional: freeze-dried strawberry powder or whipped cream

Strawberry Matcha Latte
Matcha and strawberries are a classic pairing. Using strawberry milk creates a naturally sweet and creamy matcha latte with beautiful color.

Instructions:

For an iced version, simply shake the matcha with cold water and pour over ice before adding cold frothed strawberry milk.
