Milkman Terry Gillihan

Terry took over the Federal Way territory in 2006. He enjoys being a milkman, as it gives him the freedom to work in the early hours and spend the rest of his days focusing on his other passion; Terry is an accomplished horse trainer at Emerald Downs. He spends his free time with his children and playing golf. Terry resides in Federal Way.

This was meant to be! We also spend a great deal of time at Emerald Downs - my husband is from Louisville, KY, and we love watching horseracing! We're so glad to be part of your route!

Dear Terry,
Thank you for serving our family. My so looks forward to Friday mornings when he wakes up to fresh farm milk! Our dog really enjoys you leaving her a thoughtful treat. I appreciate you bringing us groceries right to the door. Also, thank you for giving us a milk box! We hope you are well and enjoying horses. Fun fact, our house was one of the original homes in Federal Way and the neighboring parcels were land that belonged to the original owners. They kept horses! We find horse shoes on our property from time to time. 😊

Happy National Milkman Day! So grateful for the wonderful service provided by Terry. His charm and dog treats have made him a lifelong friend of our dog, Bella! She spots his truck from a mile away and can't wait to say hello. Thank you for being patient when she tries to hop in your truck for a ride : )

Hi Terry, Happy National Milkman day! Thanks for all your hard work and dedication to delivering the milk. I'd be lost (and thirsty) without you. My 4-legged boys also thank you, I swear that's what the barking means! They get excited every time they hear your truck, not just because of the yummy treats you bring. They love milk too!

Our family affectionately refers to you as Terry, the Milk Fairy, because you used to come during the night like the Tooth Fairy. We love the products you bring us each week. Our dog knows your name and loves watching for you and going to the milk box because of the treats you leave her. Thank you for serving our family for so many years. We appreciate you.

On national milkman day, I would like to thank you for your systematic and methodic way of milk delivery to our place.   It is one item that we never have to put in our list to buy.    It is the one forgotten item that we never have to worry about except perhaps getting the milk in from the delivery box.   Thank you !!!
