Individually-sized pie chock-full of chicken and veggies in a savory cream sauce.

Pot Pie Factory Classic Chicken Pot Pie features a hand-crafted crust made with all butter – never shortening – and rosemary. It’s then filled with herb-marinated chicken breast in a savory cream sauce and joined by heaps of corn, peas, broccoli, onions, and carrots. All of Pot Pie Factory’s pies are fully cooked, flash-frozen, and ready to enjoy with a simple reheat.

Reheating Instructions
Best reheated in a conventional or toaster oven - especially if you want a lovely golden-brown crust!

Conventional or Toaster Oven
*Keep frozen. Do not thaw.

  1. Preheat oven to 375F-400F. Discard all non-metal packaging (please recycle/compost as needed), leave your pot pie in the metal baking tin.
  2. Cook on a baking sheet for 40-55 minutes. Careful, the pie will be very hot!
  3. Check that the pot pie is cooked thoroughly when an internal temp of 165°F is reached via food thermometer.
  4. Enjoy!

Microwave Oven

  1. Place pie on a microwave-safe plate. We recommend either wrapping the pie in a paper towel to absorb steam or using a microwave "crisping" tray.
  2. Cut a small slit into the top of the pie to allow for proper venting.
  3. Heat for 3 to 5 minutes on high until the internal temperature reaches 165F.
  4. Enjoy!

I had the barbecued version. It was pasty and the crust was not so good. for a thousand calories I should have had a few Hot pockets.

Excellent flavor

I'm very impressed with this frozen chicken pot pie.  I haven'e found one for years that is this close to what I think a commercial pot pie should taste like.  This pie is worth the calories! Thank you Smith Brothers for introducing me to this quality local company.

Good flavor, too pricey
3/28/2022
Really enjoyed the flavor profile of this and the crust was really good. I cooked mine in the microwave and the inside was still frozen. Ended up removing the top, and microwaving the insides for an extra 2-3 minutes. It's REALLY small, definitely too small for the price and the headache of having to disassemble it to cook through. if it were priced more modestly I would buy again.

Tasty but not healthy
3/15/2022
I liked this flavor but it is very small and it isn’t good for you if you watch calories.  The Sat Fat was at 102%, cholesterol and sodium above 30%.  I didn’t have an issue with microwave but it did take more than 6 mins and the crust was already very hard.  Shame that at 670 calories, it can’t be shared as it is not a meal for most people.

I love the Pot Pie Factory!

I am so excited to see the pies available here! They’re the perfect size and delicious.

Don’t Microwave! Flavor is fine but unusual.
3/11/2022
The instructions say it’s microwaveable. It’s not!  Destroyed my microwave plate and my microwave without even heating the pie when someone unfamiliar with the probable danger had followed the microwave instructions on the box.

Though unusual seasoning for a chicken pot pie the flavor was good - when cooked in toaster oven.  Of course it’s not a quick meal that way.

This is not a traditional "Classic Chicken Pot Pie"
3/10/2022
Title is misleading as this is flavored using non-traditional spices as this is an International Flavored Version. Taste is something that would only be desired by people familiar with the spices or just prefer a different version of a traditional "Classic Chicken Pot Pie". As most "Classic Chicken Pot Pie" are smooth and velvety as this is dry to be honest unpalatable in texture and flavor. As to make matters worse the price is what I would call unacceptable for the size plus the fact that the manufacturer misrepresented the title of this pie by using the word "Classic: . This was not a good purchase.

Pretty good pie

I was pleasantly surprised by this pie! Though the filling is a little on the dry side, and the size is maybe a little small for the price, the overall flavor is good and it filled me up. The crust is just right!

Tasty!

Love Pot Pie Factory! Great to see them offered here on SB. Would love to see some veggie / vegan options.

It's Okay
3/01/2022
For the price I expected to be bigger, it's fairly small. If you can't have gluten the crussy is good but the inside was dry for me and almost seemed like it had too much starch and not enough fat to reconstitute the inside of the pie. I personally baked mine in a conventional oven for the recommended time and it was clumpy. Chicken was seasoned well but like another review mentioned was what could be over seasoned with herbs.

I’ve been enjoying these for many years (ordering them from her directly) and they are amazing!!! So thrilled I can get them from Smith Brothers now.

Size of large muffin

Tasty but I had not realized just how small it would be. In my home that would be considered an hors d’oeuvre!  Way too expensive.

I would love to be able to order from more options from Pot Pie Factory. They offer so much more than two types, including breakfast pot pies, Thai Seafood, Seafood Alhambra, as well as dessert, vegan and vegetarian options. Was exited to learn of the partnership but wish there were more of the options reflected here and that the small business is treated fairly.

Good with a number of caveats
2/23/2022
The good: Nice crust and tasty filling.  Strong rosemary flavor which could be a good or bad thing depending on preference. I thought there was a decent amount of filling for the size. Crust is both on the top and bottom.

The not so good: There were no liquid in the filling.  It was more a paste of filling and not stew-like. Nothing spilled over. The directions on the box are way off.  I went 40 minutes at 375F.  It needed another 20 minutes at 400F.  The directions listed here are more accurate than the box.  The price for the size may be debatable for many.

too small for the price
2/22/2022
For $12 I was expecting enough for at least two people. Way too tiny.

Delicious and wholesome
2/21/2022
The negative reviews surprise me. I've eaten pies from this place before and was very excited to see them being delivered from Smith Bros. I re-heated the shortcut way (in the microwave) and was impressed by how well the pastry stood up. Not overly salty, rosemary was not overpowering and loved the crust all the way through (unlike many where there's only a little on top). Love the wholesome ingredients. Pricey but worth it to me and I split it with my husband.

Dry
2/19/2022
The crust was decent, but it took much longer to cook than the directions said. Additionally there is no sauce:gravy on the inside. I found it to be very dry.

Not great
2/19/2022
Filling was dry and kind of tasteless, cooking instructions didn’t seem to be right.  We burned the crust trying to get this to 165 degrees.  Not impressed - too expensive not to be better than this.
2/19/2022
good but too pricy
2/17/2022
these tasted good but the price is way too expensive. It's literally about fist sized. Not even big enough for a single serving in our opinion.

Hair in Pot Pie
2/17/2022
I was excited to try this new product but was disappointed with how dry the chicken/veggies were.  I decided I wouldn’t re-order in the future based in this alone.  However, what really prompted me to submit this review was the thick long black hair I found in the pie!!!  It was disturbing to say the least but Smith Brothers was very understanding and accommodating when I brought this to their attention and they plan to address this with the company that makes the pot pie.  Thank you.

Salty
2/16/2022
Not only are these tiny for the price they’re incredibly salty. Yes it says 10oz but it’s no bigger than the size of my palm - too expensive for what you get.

Check baking time
2/16/2022
Baking time on box said 25-35 minutes. Seemed short but that’s what the box said. Nowhere near long enough. Pie still frozen inside. When I came back to this site instructions were for 40-55 minutes. Please provide accurate baking instructions!!

Great if you like rosemary
2/16/2022
This is very hearty and delicious! However, if you do not like rosemary, this is not for you.
